2011 An Interesting Year…

THE MESSIACH’S RETURN??  IS IT REALLY CLOSE AT HAND? ….. YOU DECIDE

THIS YEAR (2011), according to many ancient Hebrew texts, is very interesting and I love searching out the mysteries of God.. “[It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter” Proverbs 25.2

THIS IS NOT MY ATTEMPT TO PROPHECY OR DATE SET!! Just a wakeup call…

So Let’s do away with all the misunderstood  MYTHS first…

1. He will come as a thief in the night even to the Christians:

BUT –  1 Thess 5:4 “But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief”

2. Not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself knows when:

BUT – In Jewish wedding tradition, it is customary to respond to a question of when the wedding will occur with “I do not know, not even the angels know but only the Father knows”.  Simply because the bride’s father sets the date of the wedding when he is satisfied that all things are ready.  As the big wedding day approaches all is revealed…  when the Father gives the all clear, the groom comes with a shout and a trump (Yom Teruah) and takes the bride away for 7 days….

3. No-one knows the day or the hour that He will come:  “no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows:..Matt 24:36

BUT – Yom Teruah – IS the Jewish Feast of which “no-one knows the day or the hour, not even the angels in heaven know “.  Also called: the day of the great shout, the day of awe, the day of trumpets – “THE HIDDEN DAY” ..  It is also called: The Time of Jacobs trouble, The Day of the Awakening Blast, Day of Judgment, The Opening of the Books, Opening of the Gates, Yom HaKeseh (The Hidden Day), Ha Kiddushin/Nesuin (Wedding of the Messiah) and  Ha Melech (Coronation of the Messiah).

Yom Teruah is called the Hidden Day because, according to custom, God has hidden the day especially from HaSatan and his fallen angels..  The phrase “not even the angels know, nor do I” is a wedding terminology.  Basically, if someone asked when the wedding will be, the traditional response is “i don’t know, not even the angels in heaven know, but only my father” simply because the Father would decide the day when he saw that everything had been prepared for the bride (“behold I go to prepare a place for you) as per the note above….. or go here for more about the wedding phrase: https://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=128611410543399 .

Yom Teruah is unique because there is no explicit reason given in the Torah for its observance other than to “rest” and to offer sacrifice. It WAS a MYSTERY, … ONLY REVEALED IN CORINTHIANS MUCH LATER…. when Paul says, “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet (shofar OF YOM TERUAH): for the trumpet (shofar) shall sound (YOM TERUAH – the beginning of the days of Awe), and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:51) – he is intentionally speaking about Yom Teruah.. (1 Cor 15:51-52).

–Pentecost is known as the first trump, Yom Kippur is known as the GREAT TRUMP (Isaiah) and Rosh Hashanah (Yom Teruah) is knows as the “Last Trump” (because it involves 100 blasts of the shofar). And then the Feast of Trumpets begins (days of awe) -  I personally think the rapture (whether pre-trib or post-trib) could occur at any day during the feast of trumpets (the whole week) but MOST likely on Yom Teruah.

–If pre-trib doctrine is correct then it’s possible that the 10 days of teshuvah (repentance -  Yom Teruah to Yom Kippur) will lead to the 144,000 Israelites chosen out of this repentance.

REMEMBER.. the feasts are HIS Mo’edim (Appointed Times) for example::

1. The birth of John – Passover 4BC calculated by scripture and Josephus (a secular historian) references to Herod’s death….

2. 6 months later the birth of Christ – Just happens to be the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles Sept 11, 3BC

3. Sept 11, 3BC coincides with moon passing under Virgo (at her feet) with the Sun behind her (wrapping her in its light) etc (as per

Revelations woman) – Astronomy.. Get the constellation software and have a look .. its amazing and beautiful..

4. Which gives us the conception of Christ in Mary 9 months earlier – which just happened to be the Festival of Lights (Chanakuh) -

December 8th as per Catholic tradition. (they don’t even know why they do it on this day??)

5. The circumcision 8 days later – to fall on the 8th Day Assembly

6. Christ’s Death at Passover.

7. Christ’s ascension on Mem B’Omer

8. Holy Spirit comes on Pentecost

9. Wesley Revival on Passover 1738

10. Azusa Street Revival on Passover 1906

WHATS NEXT ??  Is there a pattern here we should be aware of ??

11. Yom Teruah – Day of Trumpets – “their will be a trumpet blast” / The Hidden Day – of which no one knows the day or the hour / Usher in judgment / beginning of the other festivals…

According to the ancient HEBREW sages (teachers) there is hidden wisdom in the Tanakh (Old Testament Bible) about the coming 1000 year reign of the MESSIACH (Messiah) and WHEN it will begin..  An interesting date to watch for:

Yom Teruah – the Jewish Feast of which “no-one knows the day or the hour” .  Also called: the day of the great shout, the day of awe, the day of trumpets – “THE HIDDEN DAY” ..

Consider THIS……  7 Years of Tribulation –  Yom Teruah 2011 to Yom Kippur 2018 .. here are the facts….

1. Exactly 2550 Days (7 years) as per Revelation specifications

2. Yom Teruah (Rosh Hashanah) is the Biblical Feast of which no-one knows the day or the hour (sounds familiar?)..

3. It is also called: The Hidden Day, The day of the great shout, The day of awe, The day of trumpets..The Time of Jacobs trouble, The Day of the Awakening Blast, Day of Judgment, The Opening of the Books, Opening of the Gates, Yom HaKeseh (The Hidden Day), Ha Kiddushin/Nesuin (Wedding of the Messiah) and  Ha Melech (Coronation of the Messiah).

4. It is a High Holy Day.. Did Jesus actually say he would be coming back on Yom Teruah? Just as he fulfilled other prophecies on the other Feasts??

5. 7 years also speaks about the baby boy transcending the 7 days and being circumcised on the 8th, the tzaddikim understood this to mean the 7 years of the birth pangs of the Messiah and the fulfillment of his brit (Covenant) in the 8th year provoked the idea that birth pains have begun (5778 / 2018AD). The amount of earthquakes, animals dying (birds, beast and fish), floods, pestilence and famine may indicate this is happening.

6. During Temple days, Jews always took three and a half years to read through the Torah in the synagogue. The first of 2 Triennial cycle (for a complete 7 year period) begins in Tishri 1 – Rosh Hashanah 2011 (September 29th)

7. We find this year has something VERY interesting that occurs on the Yom Teruah Feast 2011 – The Mo’edim (appointed times) in the stars show Virgo has the sun behind her and the moon at her feet on September 29th, 2011 as per Revelations 12.1 vision (coincidence?).

8. Palestine State may seek to divide Jerusalem in Sept 2011 ( a big no no no) “Then I will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land.” Joel 3.2

9.  The traditional Jewish Wedding starts with the male betrothed coming with a shout, a trump and then takes the bride away for 7 days of rejoicing – pretrib?

10.  Did you know that the Planet/Comet Elenin will pass directly between Earth and the Sun on Sept 28th-30th, 2011.  Just in time for Yom Teruah.. Coincidence?

11. Something to be aware of is that Rosh Hashanah (Yom Teruah) starts on Wednesday evening 28th September, 2011. Beginning on Rosh Chodesh 30th August and continuing until the day before Rosh Hashanah/Yom Teruah, Wednesday 28th September, it is customary to blow the shofar (ram’s horn) every day (except for Shabbat). This practice was adopted to awaken us for the coming High Holidays. The custom is to first blow tekiah (תְּקִיעָה), a long single blast (the sound of the King’s coronation), followed by shevarim (שְׁבָרִים), three short, wail- like blasts (signifying repentance), followed by teruah (תְּרוּעָה), several short blasts of alarm (to awaken the soul), and to close with tekiah hagadol (תְּקִיעָה הַגָּדוֹל), a long, final blast: this is repeated 11 times on the last day called the “Last TRUMP” (100 blasts on the last day).. I would personally LOVE to believe that the whole world (or maybe even just the Christians) would hear the days of Trumps from Heaven and just be awake, aware and fully prepared for the LAST TRUMP!!

Talk about a last minute revival !! I wonder if it will occur this year ?? HOPEFULLY

12. It is very interesting to note that the actual destruction of the Holy Temple took place on a Saturday night whilst the Midrash records that during those dreadful moments the Levites sang the song for Wednesday – “O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth!”  So why did they not sing the Saturday song?

Is it possible that as the Levites stood atop of the mount for the last time, all of a moment they received a final flash of prophetic revelation…??  That maybe, they sang the song of Wednesday as a prophetic insight that once again the clock for Israel’s time would once again re-start on a Wednesday (beginning the 7 years of the 70th week of Daniel’s vision).  The time when all of heaven turns its eyes on Israel as the time of the Gentiles ends???  Maybe even Wednesday 28th September, 2011 (Yom Teruah)??   .. It is just as profound to note that the Jerusalem temple mount was captured on Wednesday, June 7th, 1967…

13. Tishrei 1, 2011 (September 28th Yom Teruah, 2011 the Jewish New Year) will be 64 years since the regathering. 64 is a perfect square 8×8. 8 is the number of new beginnings and resurrection.

It is VERY possible that the 7 years of Tribulation actually starts on Yom Kippur 2011 after the 10 days of awe and repentance have finished (from 29th September to 8th October 2011). … which is also the PERFECT 2550 day fullfillment:

- Yom Kippur 2011 (8th October) and 1260 days take us to New Year 2015 (The Sun Elipse 20th March 2015)

- New Year 2015 (20th March) and 1290 days takes us to Hoshanah Rabbah 2018 (30th September)

—-  Hoshana Rabbah is known as the last of the Days of Judgment!!!!!!!

3.5 Years  (the mid-tribulation point)– 2014/2015 to 2018

1. And so the middle point (after the first Hebrew Torah reading Triennial cycle) would land us right when the abomination of desolation is placed in the temple.  (the Torah is read every 3.5 years – and is read twice in a 7 year cycle)

2. During Temple days, Jews always took three and a half years to read through the Torah in the synagogue. The first of 2 Triennial cycle (for a complete 7 year period) begins in Tishri 1 – Rosh Hashanah and finishes in the month of Nisan 2015

3. Is this the last time the Torah is read before Israel Repents and seeks Christ as Saviour. So what occurs at this possible mid-point?

4. The coming blood moons of 2014 through 2015. This is the only tetrad in the near future that aligns itself with the Jewish holidays.

5.  We find the tetrad blood moons and lunar eclipse all falling on Jewish holidays – 2014 through 2015

Oct 08, 2014 on Feast of Tabernacles –

Apr 04, 2015 on Passover — and finally on

Sep 28,2015 on Feast of Tabernacles.

The last few times this occurred there was GREAT change in Israel:

Lunar Tetrad on Jewish Feasts

- 1493 through 1494 (repulsion of the Jews from Spain during the Spanish Inquisition)

-1947/1948 (Israel became a nation)

- 1967/1968 (Israel captured Jerusalem)

-2014/2015 (WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN)

- no more Lunar Tetrad for a LOOOOONNGG time..

Which brings us to the year 2018 (5778 for Hebrew Calendar) .

I could write pages about the year 2018 but I will sum up with these thoughts:

In the Hebrew Year 5778 ( our calendar is 2017/2018)

1.  120 years from the first Zionist Congress

2.  100 years since the Balfour Declaration giving Israel the right to be a Nation..

3.  70 Years since Israel declared a State…

4.  50 Years from capture of Jerusalem temple mount.

5.  40 years from the Camp David Accord and Israel’s conflict with Lebanon

6. Yovel of Yovels

7. 120 = Length of Years (Gen 6:3)

8. 100 = Bondage

9. 70 = Prophecy Complete and time period for suffering

10. 50 =  Jubilee-Release of Debt and Peace (Yovel)

11. 40 = Testing

12. Maybe also its just a co-incidence BUT the photosphere of the Sun, for instance, has an effective temperature of 5778 K (does it represent the Hebrew year 5778 / 2018AD??).

13. The time immediately preceding the appearance of the Messiah will be a time of testing in which the world will undergo various forms of tribulation, called chevlei Mashiach (חֶבְלֵי הַמָּשִׁיחַ) – the “birth pangs of the Messiah” (Sanhedrin 98a; Ketubot, Bereshit Rabbah 42:4, Matt. 24:8). Some say the birth pangs are to last for 70 years, with the last 7 years being the most intense period of tribulation — called the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” / עֵת־צָרָה הִיא לְיַעֲקב(Jer. 30:7). The climax of the “Great Tribulation” (צָרָה גְדוֹלָה) is called the great “Day of the LORD” (יוֹם־יהוה הַגָּדוֹל) which represents God’s wrath poured out upon a rebellious world system.(www.hebrew4christians.com)

14. According to Hebrew sages, Abraham was born 1948 years after Adam (the birth of a nation), and then the Israel the nation was “born” in 1948 AD (1948 years after the “Second Adam” Yeshua)

15. God’s Covenant with Abraham = 2018 years after first Adam and so will the new world begin 2018AD?

2018 – 1948 = 70 years from Abraham’s birth to Covenant with G‐d

2018 – 1948 = 70 years from Israeli Statehood to Messiah

16. The Arizal (Hebrew text) explains that 70 years is the maximum number of years of suffering that an individual can be decreed.

If we extrapolate that to a Nation we see that the Babylonian exile of the Jewish nation lasted exactly 70 years and that the year 5778 (2017-18  ce) will be the 70th year of the Israeli nation, formed in 5708 (1948 CE).

I just love how Abraham was born 1948 years after Adam and then Israel was 1948 after Jesus (the second Adam).. haha

17.  According to Hebrew history and biblical time-lines, King David was born, 2854 years after Adam. He lived 70 years.  The coming year 5778 (our year 2018) is the expected year of the Messiah’s Kingdom to come and the end of the world as we know it – according to some manuscripts of Jewish origin.  That means that when David was 35 Years old (half his age) the world was also exactly half its age.. i.e the midpoint of David’s life was also the midpoint of the history of this world.

The Torah reading on 24th September this year (2011) is actually a wedding announcement – Isaiah 61.10

“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”

..  Also I find it amazing that the Parashah reading Vayelech on 24th September is the portion where, according to Jewish tradition, that the Heavenly Voice called out to Moses, “This is your last day on earth”.. nice!!

Blood Moons

Sharon a Facebook friend posted the above video and the following information that is very interesting…

I find Ruby is saying similar things to what I’ve heard in interviews with Mark Biltz. I particularly liked the Biltz interview which included J.R. Church and Gary Stearman. (However, that took place in 2008, and the material, at that time, “seemed to suggest” that the Tribulation would be finished in 2015–which of course, with the passage of time, CANNOT be correct.) This is in reference to the blood moon TETRAD that will occur on the high holy days of Passover and Tabernacles in 2014 and 2015–and that timing is NOT seven years away at THIS CURRENT POINT on our calendars.

Here’s a brief synopsis (I took a few notes, but did not catch all the details):

Ruby says to watch Israel. I agree with that, because Israel is “God’s Timepiece”, and what happens with the Jews certainly points to facts of the Second Coming of Jesus. We are also to be aware of the YEAR’S of Israel’s GENERATION, because Jesus said “This generation shall NOT pass until ALL these THINGS be fulfilled.”

What things? All the events of the Tribulation, which is what Jesus talked about in the Olivet Discourse. What is a generation? Psalm 90:10 declares that the year’s of mankind are 70–and by reason of strength, 80. Seventy years from the REBIRTH of Israel in 1948 (which is the FIG TREE BUDDING) is complete in 2018. If by reason of strength, the years are 80, then the completion will occur in 2028. That is the WINDOW of time–Biblically–for when Jesus will return.

Ruby also said the blood moons (lunar eclipses) are a sign of SWORD and JUDGMENT for Israel. (Solar eclipses are a sign for the world at large.)

This information is according to Jewish Rabbinical customs. To Israel, the moon is KEY to their yearly cycles. The moon plays a prominent part in the determination of their high holy days. Rosh Hashanah is timed to the first appearance of the sliver of New Moon. Passover is tied to the Full Moon. Tabernacles is tied to the Full Moon. These are all Jewish facts.

Ruby mentions the Full Moon of June 15, 2011 (which happens today) and makes a statement concerning the colors of it. A full lunar eclipse turns the moon RED, and it may even shade to BLACK (perhaps in the crater’s shadows). RED symbolizes WAR. BLACK symbolizes FAMINE. We can say that is Biblical because the symbolism of the RED HORSE and the BLACK HORSE in Revelation show the same thing. (I’m NOT suggesting that the RED and BLACK HORSES ride out tonight. I use this ONLY to define the symbolism.)

Now, I’ll ADD this about tonight’s blood moon: We have the ADDITIONAL FACTOR of volcanic ash from Ubbi which is erupting in Eritrea. Ash is expected to fill the atmosphere above Israel tonight, and could make the RED be even REDDER than usual. Or it can darken the eclipse until the moon looks RUDDY BROWN, the color of DRIED BLOOD. Or the ash may be so thick that the moon shows MORE BLACK (or is NOT visible at all). If an ashy cloud is in the air, the moon may look RED even while NOT in eclipse. We’ll need to see what the reports say after this particular eclipse. (I say all this to SUGGEST that the DEEPER RED could portend a MORE SERIOUS event to occur in Israel, and any BLACK might SUGGEST famine, too.) This is, of course, according to TRADITIONAL interpretations. Remember that.

Ruby went on to describe the current cluster of eclipses. On June 1, there was that partial solar eclipse at midnight in the Arctic region. (If I heard correctly, Ruby mistakenly referred to this as “Antarctic”–which I say is just a slip-up on her part.) What COULD this mean, if anything? At MIDNIGHT? It sounds similar to a warning about the MIDNIGHT hour, when the Bridegroom could appear. So the MIDNIGHT HOUR “could” to refer to the coming of Jesus to Rapture His Church. Obviously, Jesus did NOT Rapture His Church on June 1. However, the sign (concerning the world, the Gentiles, in the partial solar eclipse) COULD be a forewarning that the Rapture is really close now. Matthew 25:6–”And at MIDNIGHT there was a CRY MADE, ‘Behold. the Bridegroom comes; go ye out to meet Him.’” To me, this SUGGESTS that the Rapture is much closer than many people suspect.

Ruby mentions occasions of other “blood moon” lunar eclipses that took place during Israel’s history. These seemed to forewarn of events like the destructions of the Jewish temple–and these eclipses occurred on Jewish high holy days, making them even more important. I did not capture all the dates and events that she cited. These can be researched, if one is willing to take the time.

Of particular note is the TETRADS of “blood moons” that occurred on Passover and Tabernacles in 1949 and 1950, and again–in 1967 and 1968. We can easily discern the important events in Israel that those eclipses pointed to. In 1949 and 1950, Israel fought their War of Independence, and was victorious in it. 1967 and 68 referred to Israel recapturing Jerusalem. Both those MAJOR events were KEY turning points in Israeli history–and they were bracketed by total lunar eclipses, which happened upon Jewish high holy days.

So what does today’s total lunar blood moon eclipse over Jerusalem portend? We can only watch and see. It might be that the prophesied WARS of Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 could occur. But that’s only speculation at this point.

Then we look ahead to 2014 and 2015, when AGAIN there will be a TETRAD of total lunar “blood moon” eclipses occurring upon the high holy days of Passover and Tabernacles. (It definitely WILL NOT BE the expected END of the Tribulation that was SUGGESTED by Mark Biltz, J.R. Church and Gary Stearman in 2008!) Any guesswork at the meaning of the 2014/2015 eclipses runs the same risk of being incorrect. However, I will SUGGEST “two” possibilities–(I’m NOT saying these things WILL happen–but it’s JUST A POSSIBILITY). First, the seven-year Tribulation COULD START in 2014/15. Second (IF the Rapture occurs soon and the Tribulation quickly begins), the total lunar blood moon eclipses of 2014/15 COULD INDICATE the MID-POINT of the Tribulation and the Abomination of Desolation. (While these are interesting conjectures, we must wait upon God to KNOW the FULL MEANING of these things.)

Lucile, I’d say this video is a good one to share–IF the PROBABLE explanations are INSERTED also.

I can say with CERTAINTY, however, that we are INDEED living in THE LAST PART of the END TIMES, just before the Rapture of the Church. And we MUST KEEP LOOKING UP, because our redemption is INDEED very near. ANY MOMENT–ANY DAY could be THE TIME when Jesus appears. LET US ALL BE READY!!!

If the SUGGESTED “probable” events (indicated by the eclipses) DO NOT occur, keep remembering that God intends them for His greater purposes. His reasons will be made clear in His own timing.

Let us NEVER grow weary in serving our Lord, and NEVER become discouraged as we LOOK FOR His appearance and our BLESSED HOPE. Because, yes, one of these days He will really APPEAR, and in a split second we will be with Him. Never allow that hope to grow dim…

Tetrad–When four consecutive lunar eclipses are all total eclipses, the group is known as a tetrad.

Saros Cycle–The Saros Cycle is an eclipse cycle with a period of about 18 years 11 days 8 hours (approximately 65851/3 days) that can be used to predict eclipses of the Sun and Moon. One cycle after and eclipse, the Sun, Earth, and Moon return to approximately the same relative geometry, and a nearly identical eclipse will occur west of the original location.

Nissan–The first month of the Jewish Religious Year which occurs in the spring time. Passover Occurs on the 15th day of this month.

Passover–The Hebrew feast day commemorating the Lamb Sacrifice in Exodus where the Angel of Death passed over Israel while the firstborn in Egypt were slain. It also is the same day the Lord Jesus Christ, our lamb sacrifice for sins, was crucified.

Tishri–Tishri is the seventh month of the religious year for Israel and the first month of the civil year for Israel. This month holds the feasts of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Tabernacles (also known as Sukkoth).

Rosh Hashanah–This is a two day feast occurring on Tishri 1 and Tishri 2 of the Hebrew calendar. This is also called the feast of trumpets. A lot of people believe this feast day is tied to the rapture of the Christian Church prior to the start of the tribulation.)

Yom Kippur–This is known as the day of atonement. It is considered to be one of the most important of Jewish Holidays of the year. It is a day set aside to atone for the sins of the past year. It occurs on the 10th day of Tishri. It is found in Leviticus 23:26-32.

Sukkoth (Tabernacles)–The feast of Sukkoth begins on Tishri 15, the fifth day of Yom Kippur. It is a joyous feast day while Yom Kippur is one of the most solemn of feast days. Sukkoth is a feast day with a festival atmosphere. It marks a season of rejoicing. Sukkoth means booths and refers to temporary dwelling places the Jews gather into during this holiday. Most Christian Scholars believe the feast of Sukkoth is the feast for the 2nd Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ when he returns with his saints on white horses at Armageddon.

Av–Av is the fifth month of the Hebrew Calendar. It is a time of mourning for the Jews. There are two festivals that are in Av. On the 9th and on the 15th. On the 9th of Av is Tisha B’av which is a sad day when Jews fast. It recalls the two temples being destroyed and commemorates other tragic events throughout Jewish History. The other festival which happens in Av is Tu B’av. This is a happy occasion in which couples traditionally get together to arrange their wedding.

The Tetrad of 1949 through 1950 Tied to the rebirth of the nation of Israel. Declared May 14, 1948.

It should be noted here that even though Israel declared themselves a nation in 1948, The first permanent government takes office on Jan 25, 1949. Israel had a transitional government in 1948. In this way the tetrad can tie to the year 1949 for the first elected office of that year and the birth year still be 1948.

The Solar Eclipses pattern of 2008, 2009 and 2010. We have a solar eclipse that occurs on the 1st of Av three years in a row.

The banking community started to go into collapse in the United States in August 2008. This has led to the almost total collapse of the world banking system. This event alone will set up the stage for a one world monitory system just in time for the soon arrival of the Antichrist. Note also that the Saros Cycles for the 3 AV eclipses increment by ten which is the number of the Gentiles. I do not believe this means we are in the tribulation. I do believe we will see things occur in succession throughout the Gentile world that will make way for the soon arrival of the Antichrist.

Putting everything into perspective.

The above does not mean that the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ at Tabernacles has to occur on Tabernacles 2015. We already know that if you have a seven year tribulation the return year of 2015 is too soon. What the above taken as a whole does show a pattern. The first tetrad of 1493 is tied to the Spanish Government expelling the Jews. The second tetrad is the nation Israel being reborn. The third tetrad is the recapture of Jerusalem. The fourth will be tied to some major event dealing with Israel. One could speculate that the next major thing to take place for Israel is the restart of the daily sacrifices and the rebuilding of the temple. If that is the case one could see the following table.

First Tetrad of 1493-1494 Jewish Dispersion The Jews being scattered.

Second Tetrad of 1949-1950 Israel becoming a Nation again The start of the re-gathering of Israel

Third Tetrad of 1967-1968 6th Day War Israel gaining control of Jerusalem

Fourth Tetrad of 2014-2015 Major event dealing with Israel Could tie to the restart of the building of the temple and daily sacrifices.

Could be tied to the start of the tribulation
Could be tied to the abomination of Desolation
Could be tied to the last half of the tribulation
Know one can say for sure.

The problem with putting events together to point to the second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ does not necessarily make it so.

One can look at the pattern above and with the use of Scripture to see what is in the near future we know the following.

A seven year tribulation period is about to occur.

A Pre-tribulation Rapture is close at hand.

The world is going through an economic upheaval which will make things ready for the Antichrist.

Israel became a nation in 1948 and going with the maximum 70 year generation we get 2018 when everything should come to pass. That makes the year 2011 as a good year for the rapture, and ONLY that is SPECULATION for we can NOT determine the years exactly for the phrase “this generation shall not pass away” found in the scriptures dealing with end times.

(Luke 21:32) Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

We know that the rapture is soon.

I believe that the tetrad of 2014 through 2015 will have something to do with Israel for the start, or middle of the tribulation period. The Jews require a sign. If it does line up with Israel fleeing into the wilderness, Israel will see the eclipses occurring on their feast days to show them that the time for their redemption is near.

Jewish Feast Fulfillment

The Case for Integrity and Continuity in Jewish Feast Fulfillment’s

The seven Jewish feasts that were ordained by God and given to Moses in Leviticus 23 have an order to them, a flow of continuity in a chronological manner.  This is the pattern evidenced in the fulfillment’s of the first four feasts.  Order and consistency has been the hallmark of God’s plan for the ages, not a haphazard, after-thought and mish-mash of events.  He is sovereign; He knows the beginning from the end and orderliness is characteristic of His plans.

For review, the seven feasts are:  Feast of Passover; Feast of Unleavened Bread; Feast of First Fruits; Feast of Weeks (Pentecost); Feast of Trumpets; Feast of Atonement; and Feast of Tabernacles.

Passover, however, was introduced at the time of the Exodus and later combined with the other six feasts. The seven feasts appear to highlight the redemptive ministry of Jesus Christ in the world, from the cross to His second coming.  Colossians 2:16-17 tells us that the feasts are shadows of things to come, but “the body is of Christ”.  So the feasts are commemorations of future events to be fulfilled, and we can readily see that in the fulfillment’s of the first four.  And, as well, it identifies them with the person and ministry of Christ; they are not unrelated or isolated occasions of religious practice.

Christ was the Passover lamb, was buried (pictured by the nature of unleavened bread), and rose again the third day as the first fruits of the resurrection.  Fifty days later, at Pentecost, the Hold Spirit came upon the little band of believers, indwelling them, just as Jesus had promised the disciples in John 14:17, “He dwells with you and will be in you”.

My argument is that there is one fulfillment for each feast, and they come about in the order they were given.  For example, the next feast to be fulfilled in order is the Feast of Trumpets and it’s certainly no accident that the descriptive details of that festive activity are highlighted in Paul’s description of the rapture in I Thessalonians 4:16-17.  The parallel is too apparent to conclude otherwise.

This next feast has been ignored or given little significance in the plan of God, or plugged in at the time of the Second Coming of Christ all too often.  I suspect that the reluctance to give it a proper position in the scheme of end-time events has a lot to do with a fear of being labeled a “date-setter” because it pinpoints the rapture to a certain time-frame.  And that is a valid concern, but certainly no excuse for avoiding a straight-forward consideration of the teaching of scripture.  Jesus did tell us to “watch, for you know not what hour your Lord comes”, and we are certainly pressing toward that hour.

If one is ready for Jesus to come, it will not matter a lot if he does not know the day or the hour.  I suppose Enoch, who “walked with God, and he was not, for God took him” (Genesis 5:24) was not aware of what God was about to do, but he was totally engrossed in who he was with.  That is our challenge today.

I have thought some on the way a shadow performs in the sunlight.  Our bodies cast a shadow as the sun shines on us, and as the day progresses the shadow becomes shorter and shorter, until a high noon, we are standing on top of our shadow.  In a sense we have fulfilled the pronouncement of our shadow.  The Colossians 2:16-17 identity of the feasts as shadows of the Christ who is to come, or the things having to do with Him, works out the same way.  One day soon the fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets will turn its shadow into reality.

The issue of “the day and the hour” is no simple calculation.  We have established time zones and an international date line that puts some locations in a different day than others.  We have daylight saving time to further confuse the issue. And, more confusing is this—my daughter lives in the Denver, Colorado, area, and I am in southern Idaho.  Both are in the Mountain Time Zone, yet we were talking on the phone once and she remarked that it was dark there, while I noted that we still had sunlight in Idaho.  Over the time zones to Israel, the time here in Idaho would be nine hours later (I think). Only God can figure this out, so I choose to let Him do it!

The last two feasts portray the fulfillment of two final events in Jesus’ redemptive ministry, that of the Jews’ acceptance of Jesus as their true Messiah and true atonement (the Feast of Atonement) part-way into the “time of Jacob’s trouble”, the seven-year tribulation period.  And, finally, the Feast of Tabernacles, which pictures the Lord coming to dwell with His people, which He will do at His second coming to the earth.
