Prophecy to America

Prophecy to America (August 25, 2009)

Your sins overflow like Niagra Falls, causing a mist to cover your eyes. The time has come that your blindness, negligence, as well as willful disobedience, even with brazen boldness, has led you astray.

Your enemies are within you, so within you your enemies will rise up inside your very borders. Oh the agony and shame you will bear.

Storms will sweep from sea to seas and your feet will tremble. You have lost your bearings from the things that made you great. Your eyes grew haughty, and pride filled your breast. You took credit for your own success which the Lord of glory alone is due. You boasted in the glory of man and gave glory to yourself.

Arise people of God and prepare, for your time is short and the Harvest and Judgment have come upon you. Be ready. The days are numbered 1-2-3 and I am coming swiftly. Stand in the gap and swing your incense. Labor on your knees and then speak the Good News with your mouth. Proclaim that “The Day of the Lord” is near. Oh, it is near!

I have told you this so that you would know when the time comes. The Harvest and Judgment are upon you even now.

What is Faith?

  • Posted on October 30, 2011 at 1:38 am

Hebrews 11:6 … But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

—————————————————-

What is faith? It is confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. Men of God in the days of old were famous for their faith.

Do you remember how you felt when your wre younger and your birthday approached? You were excited and anxious. You knew you would certainly receive gifts and other special treats. But some things would be a surprise. Birthdays combined assurance and anticipation, and so does faith in Jesus Christ!!! Faith is the Conviction based on past experiences that God’s new and fresh surprises will surely be ours.

Two words describe our faith: confidence and certainty. These two qualities need a secure beginning and ending point. The beginning point of faith is believing in God’s character – He IS who He says He is!! The end point is believing in God’s promises – He WILL do what He says. We believe that God will fulfill His promises even though we don’t see those promises materializing NOW – this is true faith (John 20:24-31).

John 20:24-31 KJV But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

We have to know that when we read these verses in John chapter 20 concerning faith, we wish we could actually see Jesus, touch him, and hear his words. Are there times you want to sit down with him and get his advice? Thomas wanted Jesus’ physical presence. But God’s plan is wiser. He has not kept himself contained in one physical body, he wants to be present with all of us at all times. Even now He is with us in the form of the Holy Spirit. You can talk to him, and you can find his words to you in the pages of the Bible. He can be as real to you as he was to Thomas :)

Jesus wasn’t hard on Thomas for his doubts. Despite his skepticism, Thomas was still loyal to the believers and to Jesus himself. Some need doubt before they believe. Jesus’ resurrected body was a unique kind of physical body. It was not the same kind of flesh and blood Lazarus had when he came back to life. Jesus’ body was no longer subject to the same laws of nature as before his death – he could appear in a locked room. Yet he was not a ghost or apparition; he could be touched and could eat. Jesus’ resurrection was literal and physical – he was not a disembodied spirit. Some people think they would believe in Jesus if they could see a definite sign or miracle.

But Jesus says we are blessed if we can believe without seeing. We have all the proof we need in the words of the Bible and the testimony of believers :)

Grace thru Faith

  • Posted on October 16, 2011 at 1:23 am

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We are saved through the grace of God and only the grace of God. There is no other way for us to get to heaven. If we think the good we do will earn us a hope in heaven, then we shall be deeply dismayed when Jesus says, “Depart from me, I never knew you.” Let us not take pride in ourselves in thinking that our works will get us into heaven. Let us rather praise the Lord for His marvelous grace!

Added Note:

(James 2:24) – “You see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone.”

God does not want a faith that is empty and hypocritical. James 2 is talking about those who “say” that they have faith but have no works. Therefore, people cannot tell if they are true believers or not, because there is no fruit. That kind of a faith is useless and is not a saving faith. True faith results in true works. http://carm.org/grace-or-works

Service to Christ

  • Posted on October 16, 2011 at 1:13 am

“Let those who have a strong, deep, abiding desire towards any special form of service to Christ, take it as presumptive proof that God intended them to do that work and that if in humility, faith and dependence they undertake it, He will prosper them in it.” – F. Guinness
